Current Udemy Course

Always wanting to learn more about computers and extend my skills I use the website Udemy to learn. I am currently working on Learning Selenium with Java using the following course.

https://www.udemy.com/course/selenium-for-beginners/

My Current Github for Learning Selenium

https://github.com/turusko/Learning-Selenium

What I have accomplished in this course so far:

Following the tutorial, I was able to create a simple login test. Once i did that before carrying on I took what I learnt and made two tests:

  1. As a user when i enter my username incorrectly the website will tell me
  2. As a user when i enter my password incorrectly the website will tell me

Positive Login test file: https://github.com/turusko/Learning-Selenium/blob/master/src/test/java/com/herokuapp/theinternet/PositiveTests.java

Bad login test file: https://github.com/turusko/Learning-Selenium/blob/master/src/test/java/com/herokuapp/theinternet/NegativeTests.java

Noteworthy Snippets

The following section is a collection of snippets I have done to try some software or packages out to even giving proof of concept of how we can use new technology to integrate with our test framework.
  • With an upcoming new web portal for Tolarus central, I have looked at using Selenium with C# to keep our technology stack the same. To do this I created a simple script with C#, NUnit and Selenium this can be found here.
